Thanks to the tremendous amount of growth WebhostGIANT has witnessed over the last year, we are in a position that requires us to migrate to a larger facility that will help us expand and increase our service offering. The AIS Scranton Datacenter has been home to WebhostGIANT for years now. Last year AIS opened their newest, state-of-the-art Lightwave Datacenter that has a few advantages over Scranton. Some of which are more room and a better network. This move will also allow WebhostGIANT to expand to offer low cost Virtual Private Servers. The move will take place the first week in December. We will be providing more details as we get closer to the date. In a few weeks we will issue a Maintenance Window notice and let clients know when the move will take place. The expected outage will last 2 hours late one evening. It is important to note that this is NOT a cost savings strategy. In fact it will cost us more money to be in this new datacenter. However, the results will be better for our clients and WebhostGIANT as we expand. |
