New Built-in DNS Manager System

WebhostGIANT is pleased to release their new built-in DNS Manager system to all customer's Client Area. Now all zones can be managed in real time without having to open a support ticket. All clients can now click on their "DNS Manager" link in their Client Area and start managing their zones. WebhostGIANT has two available DNS Manager options. The first is the Basic User System which is included free with all accounts. From the Basic User System you will be able to add and manage zones, edit your zone template and run zone statistics. The second option is our Advanced User System. Customers that purchase this upgrade will have all the features of the Basic User System plus the ability to add additional domain administrators, manage reverse DNS, manage bulk records, run bulk replacements, add additional zone templates, add zone groups and run zone audits. Our Advanced User System is for those customers that manage many domains on multiple servers or plans and need more control over their zones. The Advanced User System is $5.95/mo.

It is important to point out that due to the amount of servers under our management, we have decided to move away from running DNS on each individual shared server. By going this route we are able to provide DNS service for all our clients from our two dedicated DNS Servers that are geographically separated. Not only does this improve uptime and resolution speed, but it also improves resource allotments and security on the shared server. It is for this reason that we require any domain names added to your Plesk control panel be added to the DNS Manger in order to have it resolve.
